One of the most memorable and exciting memories of my trip to Northern Argentina was the concert of Ricardo Vilca y Sus Amigos in Teatro Mitre, San Salvador de Jujuy, whose wonderful music is now my favourite in my whole collection of andean music. This picture shows Ricardo about to sign the covers of the 3 CDs I bought in the interval. As you can see by the delight on Javi's face he was equally thrilled at having enjoyed this wonderful concert also - all thanks to Jorge who took us there. He also took us to see Kjarkas later that week (Bolivia's most famous band who were on tour in Argentina at that time).
