This is when the car broke down after leaving La Quiaca, but fortunately there was a garage nearby and the mechanic soon got us going again. The glass cover of the oil filter had cracked due to minus 17 temperatures the previous night. Luckily the breakdown occurred before we got up on the altiplano.
